Wilderness Walk

We went on a wilderness walk to decrease screen time, to strengthen our bodies and increase our imaginations and curiosity.  We found some amazing things!  We walked along and we walked along and we found some mud, a small creek.  We jumped over a log, went down many deer paths, and we found some mushrooms. We found a stick shaped like a 7 which was magical, my daughter turns seven soon and she is going to plant it in our front yard for her seventh birthday.

We continued through the pathways and found a magical gnarled maple tree, more mushrooms and a strange old tree root that had been hollowed out.  How did that happen?  We are going to come back soon and roll things down this naturally made chute.
