Arts-Based and Creativity Cohort Takes Art Outdoors!

Teacher Candidates in UBC’s Arts Based and Creativity Cohort recently explored the work of Nature Based artists, Andy Goldsworthy, Andre Lapointe and Tim Pugh in their Art Curriculum and Pedagogy course.  Some of the concepts discussed were site-specific art, ephemeral art and experiential art. After viewing works of these artists and the nature art of the Clemson University Nature-based Sculpture Program, teacher candidates headed outdoors to look for inspiration from the materials that nature has to offer. The results were stunning!
