Congratulations to Hart Banack and Team for hosting the first Wild About Outdoor Learning Festival in Lheidli T’enneh Prince George. Saturday, June 24th will be an opportunity for those in Northern B.C. To be part of great outdoor learning, celebrate the place they live and participate in the ParticipACTION Community challenge at the Caledonia Otway Nordic Centre from 9 am to 4 pm.
Hart Banack was the catalyst behind the Wild About Vancouver grassroots movement that started in 2015 and has grown into the Wild About Outdoor Learning Society registered as a nonprofit in British Columbia. Dr. Banack is on faculty at the University of Northern British Columbia, and has brought his passion for outdoor learning with him when he moved to Prince George.
The Wild About Lheidli T’enneh Prince George Outdoor Learning Festival is all about celebrating the past and present of the place we live, tapping into opportunities to be outdoors and active, and being involved in the community.
Wild About Outdoor Learning Society is funded by private donation, The Human Rights Internet (HRI), and the Federal Government through the ParticipACTION grant.
