We celebrate and promote the awe-inspiring natural environment in British Columbia and the positive impact it has on our physical health, happiness, learning, creativity and inspiration to create a better world.
WILD ABOUT OUTDOOR LEARNING SOCIETY GOALS
- To catalyze individual and community-based involvement in outdoor physical activity.
- To promote learning about eco-systems, biospheres, water stewardship, climate change and engagement in ecological restoration, conservation, and sustainability initiatives through a lens of reconciliation and climate justice.
- To provide information, training, mentoring, and networking opportunities to support B.C. communities in organizing sustainable outdoor events / festivals for all adults and children in their community.
- To providing inclusive opportunities for collaborative action of a diverse range of individuals and groups to develop a sense of belonging in B.C. communities.
